Shaymin - XY 115

Legendary (or Mythical) Pokémon often have Legendary artworks, and this Promo Shaymin from the XY Mythical Premium Collection is no exception. This card illustrated by You Iribi is a card that I’ve wanted since it came out. I was about 15 years old when the Mythical Collections hit the market, so just like most people that age, I could not just buy everything I wanted.

As of today, I don’t own this card (yet) , but there are tons of reasons to add it to my collection. The main reason is of course the artwork. I feel like this illustration still beats most of the newer illustration cards, even though it’s almost 10 years old!

What I love about this card as well is that Shaymin is just taking some rest near the water, looking at its own cute reflection while petals are falling in the water. It’s a prestigious scene to look at, and I’m sure this card would make any collection more spectacular.
