Let’s celebrate with one of the most amazing cards ever made!
For this week’s Pokémon Prestige, I wanted to showcase a crown jewel of the Pokémon TCG, and what other way then to showcase a card from the Prestigious Crown Zenith itself – Darkrai (GG50/GG70).
Crown Zenit is known for some of the most stunning artworks to ever make it in the Pokémon TCG, and this card is no exception. I remember when I saw the cardlist from Crown Zenith for the first time, this Darkai did stand out. Illustrated by Pani Kobayashi, this card is a prime example of unique cards. The usage of colors, the painted background and the pose of Darkrai… it all fits perfectly together.
I bought a good amount of packs from Crown Zenith, but my pullrates for Galarian Gallery cards were not nearly what they should be. I only pulled 1 textured card (Galarian Gallery Zoroak VStar – which is also a crazy card, don’t get me wrong), and some other GG cards like Turtwig (GG31/GG70) or Lapras (GG5/GG70) , but that’s really it – too bad I didn’t pull this Darkrai. You win some, you lose some!
