Litleo - 28/196

One of the Pokémon I recently started to like more and more is Litleo! That is also one of the reasons I wanted to place this card in the spotlight: Litleo (28/196) from Lost Origin.

Sekio did a really good job on a unique pose and overall scene. Most of the time, we expect a fire-type to be present in a volcano landscape or have some trees burning in the background. To our surprise, Litleo is found here on ice!

The Galarian Mr. Mime in the background is clearly a master on ice while Litleo is struggling to even stand on the slippery surface. Even with its claws, Litleo cannot seem to get there. The combination of such a cute Pokémon slipping on ice makes the perfect “Happy” scene.

I have multiple copies of this card because I opened a Lost Origin Booster Box back in 2022 together with my cousins and my brother. While the prices for this popular set have skyrocketed, the Litleo (28/196) did not seem to be affected. If you go to a cardshow or other Pokémoncard-related event, chances are high that you find this card in some bulk for a bargain!
