Lillie's Clefairy - 184/159

Ooooh yeah, it’s time to get overloaded with happiness again! With none other than Lillie’s Clefairy (184/159) from Journey Together, Happy Hits showcases a textured card for the second time here on Pocket Scout.

Personally, I’ve been a fan of the Clefairy evolution line since I found it in Pokémon Platinum because it could learn the move metronome. I’ve had Clefairy in my team till I evolved it in Clefable with a moonstone. If I remember correctly, Dragonite took over the spot.

With Lillie being one of my favorite modern characters, I think this card has a super adorable scene to look at. For those who don’t know Lillie’s backstory; she was afraid of Pokémon since she was 4 years old (Except for Cosmog). Later, she got help from Professor Kukui and others to overcome her fear. Cute Pokémon made her feel more comfortable becoming a Pokémon trainer by herself. That is also why I like this card so much. Everyone can be a Pokémon trainer with their own style!

Besides the story behind this card, the artwork is perfect. The green grass and Clefairy have a nice contrast, making the subjects pop. Those cute white and blue flowers are an amazing addition to bring even more color to the scene.

I have a boosterbox of Journey Together laying around where I open a pack from time to time, still hoping to pull this card! If you collect beautiful cute cards, maybe eBay has some good offers for you!
