What other way to start strong than showcasing a card of the illustrator Tomokazu Komiya. Some of you might have heard this name before, and I’m sure it’s not the last time you will see this name pass by here on Pocket Scout.

The Alolan Vulpix from Ultra Prism (30/156) represents 3 Alolan Vulpix playing around in a snowy landscape. The artwork is absolutely stunning, the soft colors match the scene, but that is not the only thing why this card makes you smile.

The cuteness of the poses, the silly faces, the way the middle one slipped on the ice… that is what I want to see in a Pokémon card. Pokémon don’t always have to battle, they can just enjoy each other's company while being themselves.
