Raikou & Suicune Legend - 92/95

Be prepared for one of the most epic “Back in the Binder” cards we’ve seen here on Pocket Scout: Raikou & Suicune Legend (92/05)! This astonishing card from HeartGold & SoulSilver - Unleashed dates all the way back to 2010! Can you believe that?

As you might have noticed, the card does not seem complete. Where are the attacks? Where is the retreat cost? And how about weakness? Well, the card has a second half! Legend cards are made in 2 parts, just like the V-union cards that might sound more familiar for those who have enrolled in the hobby in 2022.

Since this card is so epic, but also on the older side, I was not sure whether to put this card in the “Back in the Binder” series, or in the “Pokémon Prestige” series. That is why I put it in both! If you are reading this the day the article came out, you’ll have to wait till the 29th of November before seeing the bottom half of this card (or if you are from the future: here is the link already ⚡💧).

Why did I choose to put Raikou & Suicune Legend in the spotlight? Well, just look at it! I think the HeartGold & SoulSilver era has some amazing artworks, but this is just the cherry on top of the cake if you’d ask me! The illustration is so unique there were 2 illustrators needed to complete it. You won’t find that too often in the world of Pokémon.
